Parking space & surroundings for 8 € (will be taken into account when consumed!) Very nice! Shady parking space, phenomenal view of the castle! I can only recommend food, nice staff, we'll be back!

We wanted a quick spritzer at the bar table ... the landlord came out ... this is my table! Hospitality looks different!

Arrived here, pleased with the many clean parking spaces. Service, presentation and seating are great! Selection of food manageable and absolutely good. Ate a schnitzel and it was very good. View and surroundings wonderful to linger and enjoy! Keep it up :)

Bucolic, quiet place with superb views over the Alsace plain. Average meal

Sat at a table for 15 minutes. The waiters passed us several times and ignored us. We'd rather go somewhere else.

Here is an inspiring place where you can relax your mind. I recommend the draft beers which are as refreshing as they are qualitative. With a good dish or for just a few snacks, this place will make your moment a certain time of conviviality.

A good outlook however both operators who served us are very unfriendly and the card is very manageable .... If the unfriendliness a not interested good restaurant

The castle ruin with a wonderful view is highly recommended as a destination. The restaurant offers a nice terrace. The dishes are of average quality but unfortunately too expensive.

Nice view on the Schauenburg ruin as well as the vineyards. Friendly service. dogs are welcome.

Unfriendly service. We wanted a table with 3 people as we wanted some food and drink. There were 3 tables free. Tables were suddenly reserved and no longer free according to the waitress. Dirty tables too! One had the impression that she didn't feel like working. Then suddenly was gone and we stood there stupid. We went back and went down to eat in town. So I cannot recommend it based on this experience.

Location below the castle ruin is great, fantastic views on the terrace. The food tastes good. There is a deduction for the very small portions that are out of proportion to the price! In the service mainly young temporary workers who are unfortunately not very attentive and who tend to feel ignored, even if you try to make contact without having to call across the whole place.

The restaurant itself is actually not that big, but there is space for some people on the terrace. The service was a bit stressful, the soup came before the drinks. But it wasn't that dramatic, after all it was fluid and my thirst wasn't so huge. A tip for campers. The parking space fee will be deducted from the meal. I think it's great service. Overall, I can say the food was good, the prices rather high. However, you also have a great view of Oberkirch. And there is also the castle. So this trip was very successful.

Nice view but nothing more ... It was 3 tables on the terrace and we waited almost an hour for food ... The food was at a very low level, expensive and of poor quality ... Too bad 👎

Good and large dishes. Unique historical location. The waitress was however completely inefficient.

Absolutely fantastic

Super happy you stay when you enjoy eating on the spectacular terrace of this secluded restaurant of the Black Forest, between tall vineyards and with a stunning landscape. It is also crowned by the ruins of a castle and surrounded by incredible and mysterious paths that invite you to lower the food with a relaxing walk. Very, highly recommended!

Topped my expectations. Nice service and good food at a fitting price. The prices for childs portions are, are also pretty fair. Also a nice vantage point. Got a nice look over the Oberkirch.

Very steep climb, but the panoramic view of the city of Oberkirch and the Rhine Plain is fabulous.
